I made this card for my good friend Debbie. Yesterday was her birthday. We met when our children began preschool together, and our families have been friends ever since. I am so grateful for her friendship. On the card, I colored the bird and branch with Copic markers, and added black Enamel Accents (Ranger) for the eye. I also used Rock Candy Distress Stickles on the bird and roses. The paper is from Linen Closet by DCWV, and the dies are as follows: Oval, Nestabilities; bird and branch, Stampin'Up, Rolled roses and scalllop borders, My Favorite Things. I believe the blue metallic flowers are from Colorbok, and the sentiment stamp is from Ladybug Crafts Ink. The pearls are from my stash, and I am not sure where I got them. I tried to enter this card in the MFT wednesday stamp club challenge, but I had trouble uploading my image in time. They have begun using a sketch for their challenges, and that is where the design of this card came from. Can you guess where my image inspiration came from? (Hint: Look at the right side of my blog.)
