So, I decided to do a December Daily Album, inspired by Ali Edwards, and a kit from Studio Calico. A while back, I posted a question to the message board at SC, asking how others would cover their chipboard December Daily album from the kit. There were some great ideas posted there. Well, I finally got myself together, and began my cover. The front, back, and inside are done, but I am waiting for my Studio AE and December Daily 2011 stamps to arrive from Technique Tuesday before I do the spine. But for now, here is what I have:
The front cover (The back is the same.)
Close up of the cover. You can see how the glitter sparkles, but what you can't really see is the very subtle sheen of the metallic paint that I painted the snowflakes with. So pretty!
Here is the inside. It will look a little different once I do the spine, but this is essentially how it will look.
I am now trying to decide whether to leave it at white and silver, or add some candy cane striped ribbon. I will be stamping in red on the spine. What are your thoughts?
