So, I am all out of order, but I have a tag to share today for 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist series. The day 11 challenge was a Country Christmas theme, and here is what I came up with:
My tag was inspired by KIttie Caracciolo's tag, which you can see here. Kittie's tag is done in greens and browns, with a pop of red, so I used that as my starting place. She also linked to a bow-tying tutorial on her blog, so I decided to give that a try, and I think it turned out quite nicely! I have had these stamps from Close to My Heart in my stash for years, but they don't get much use, so I knew what I wanted to do for "Country Christmas". I colored the scene with Copic markers. Aren't those bunny slippers sweet? I couldn't resist giving them rosy little cheeks! I added little pink "lights" to the tree, and then backed the tag with a sweet calico pattern of holly leaves, berries, and tiny snowflakes.
