Technique Tuesday Studio AE Challenge

I am entering this "memory box in the Technique Tuesday Studio AE Share Your Story Challenge.  It features photos and stories from our vacation this summer, especially how much I enjoyed watching my daughter enjoy herself.  This will be a birthday gift for her next week!

This is the top of the box, and the little journaling booklet I made to go inside.  Isn't this view at Acadia National Park amazing?

Here are the pages of the book.

I detailed some of the highlights of each day of our trip to Maine.

This is the cover of the book.

This is the front of the box.  Exploring the beach at low tide.

Here you see the right side.  Just Chillin'.

This is the back of the box.  She is running along the beach with a big piece of seaweed flying behind her!

And finally, this is the left side.  I just love how I caught her reflection in the window!

Here you see the little booklet as it fits inside the box.  I plan to line the box with some light blue paper, but I didn't have enough time to get it done on time for the challenge!

  1. Nicely done! Now I am going to have to go buy more of the AE sets that I don't have yet.
This is a great gift, she will love it.

    Good luck!

  2. Oh my word is this a work of art and love. What a treasure! The journaling in the little book makes it so special and personalized and the photos on the outside make it a centerpiece!
I loved your comments on my blog today and just had to come check your blog out.
I use Wilton's Mocha cupcake recipe (but add a tiny bit more liquid), and the esspresso buttercream is super simple. Just make a regular vanilla BC and disolve espresso power into the vanilla extract before adding it. And if it needs more liquid, don't add milk, add coffee!
I wish I lived closer to Syracuse, but alas, we live about an hour south of Buffalo. *pout*

  3. This is such a clever idea! And perfect execution too! My boys are always asked to take pictures to school, this would be so handy to have around!
