January LOAW 3

This week's challenge was to use Anna Maria Woniak's work as our inspiration.  I tried to emulate her style, but I wasn't as successful as I would have liked.  It was lots of fun making a hot mess, though, and I do like the results!

I used photos from a snowball fight my kids had with their cousins on Thanksgiving Day.  As you can see, there wasn't much snow, and it was melting fast in the 50 degree + weather, but they managed to find enough to throw at one another, and they had a great time doing it!  the cousins are only together once or twice a year, but they have learned to make the most of every opportunity!

I used glitter Thickers from American Crafts to help give a snowy feel, and I punched leaves, acorns and hearts from painted paper to keep in mind the true season of the day.  Sorry about the quality of the photos.  It was starting to get dark when I finally finished, and getting good photographs was a challenge.
Thanks for visiting, and have an awesome week!
